Mind Control coming to games and toys

The good folks at Neurosky are bringing Mind Control to the masses with their EEG Game Controller.

They’ve just announced a partnership with Sega Toys. But no word yet on what toy or game will be the first to incorporate this technology.

This recent ABC Report does give an overview of the technology and some of it’s intended applications:

If only it could be integrated with a functioning HUD, it would be quite the wearable communications set-up.

  1. I remember seeing a game in 1990 at a Commodore Users gathering in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, that allowed you to progress through a gamescape simply by relaxing. The more you relaxed, the further you progressed; the more you tensed up, the further back you were shunted. Pretty neat for 18 years ago. Now we have this. Fun stuff.
