Zinc, glass and steel

In 2005, the Art Museum of Western Virginia unveiled the design by LA architect Randall Stout for a new 81,000 square foot building:

The building is now complete, and has attracted a mixed reaction, including being called “A Grim Rocket Of Zinc And Steel” (io9) and the “crashed-saucer museum”…. You can catch a live webcam feed here.
