This is precisely what people were warned about, when BluetTooth connection came out. There was no security, no encryption, and the market didn’t seem like it was going to provide the capability, at any time in the near future.
You’d think, you’d THINK they could take three seconds to note that people were warned about this, by securities experts, and that companies pretty much said “Meh, we’ll get around to it.”
Feh.
Pretty good example of how easy it is for the media to over hype something. From what i saw i pretty much gather that the only thing they managed to do was detect that an RFID was present and record the frequency it was operating on nothing else. Guess its time to crack out the tin-foil wallets and tin foil hats…
