presenting the Digital Tattoo Interface
Don’t you just love this science-fictional world of ours? One minute you’re day-dreaming about what might be, then you turn on the internets and there it is. Case in point – this: the Digital Tattoo Interface, designed by Jim Mielke for the Greener Gadgets Competition:
My initial reaction: WANT! It’s an implantable, flexible silicon, bluetooth-driven screen. And the best bit – it’s powered by a fuel cell that converts the energy in your blood!
If this isn’t our cyborg future come to life, then I’m not sure what is. And not only can it be used to control your wearable devices, it can be pretty while it’s not in use. A skinsaver perhaps? Cycling through your choice of images and videos for the day.
We’ve come a long way, and quickly from the novelty value of this watch piercing. But until now, it was one of the better examples of functional wearable technology.
thanks for the tip-off BethCorbel!

Awesome, I’m so getting that when it becomes more available. :D
oh i want it *_*
Yes please? I would sign up for this real quick, even if it wasn’t also an input device. Just having a tattoo that you could change constantly is great, all the awesome non of the commitment.
