Only a concept design at this stage, but this has all the makings of pre-Shriekyware:

The experience recorder fits on the hand and records not only photos, but sounds, movement, video, and temperature. Here you can experience the whole objective reality of a person’s experience!

This Experience Recorder has a movement sensor, audio recorder, still-image camera, video camera, thermometer, and wireless computer connection. The Experience Recorder can record on auto mode, deciding on its own which information to collect, or on manual mode. While in manual mode, the user must activate the Experience Recorder through sensors in the fingers of the glove.

  1. Not just shriekyware, but also Pay-cops. – all you’d need is for the thing to ping the nearest nick if the wearer is attacked (detected by suitable cam/audio/move/body temp combos, or a pre-arranged ‘safe word’).

Then of course you’ll get people wearing fake ones, so muggers avoid them… like the opposite of wearing white iPod headphones.

  4. I find it odd that something almost exactly like this wee bracelet was a piece of tech in the uber crappy lost in space movie that came out a few years ago.. i believe it was worn by the young penny robinson in the flick.
