I'm ordering my botany and herbal medicine books, lol, I figure best to develop some sort of skill I can market myself with. Other handy point might be to order that book on how to spim dog hair into yarn. My partner always thinks I'm a little nutty for my, "hope for the best, prepare for the worst," outlook. Damn, that was fast! I feel like I just listened to Saul Griffith last week... and have been highly anticipating Orlov’s since Stuart talked about it in his introduction. Brilliant one-two punch on the near-future state of things for the US in these most recent two lectures—just need the next one to be about that Cyberpunk side of things, and a pretty interesting picture should emerge! Bruce Sterling again, perhaps? The Orlov lecture happened already? Damn, that was fast!
