		<description>I know it sounds depressing but I suspect that, headline-grabbing aside, the space race is going to remain stagnant until we can find a better way to get off the planet than chemical rockets (crude, ancient) or nuclear-fission based propulsion (fascinating, efficient, capable of lifting really really big things, just with the unfortunate side-effect of horribly irradiating anyone left on the ground).  We need to manipulate gravitation like we can manipulate electromagnetism if we&#039;re really gonna get off world, and I personally reckon this is a ripe target for the hobbyist to poke around at.</description>
